Level 3 Teaching Assistant
£15144 - £15446 Actual Salary (Scale point 6-7 Grade D)
32.5 hours per week 8.30am-3.30pm term time only plus 1 Week
We are inviting applications from a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and motivated candidate to join our team of experienced and highly professional staff. The successful candidate will be supporting the work of the teachers within whole class sessions, but must also be able to plan and deliver small group support and interventions.
The successful applicant must have:
- Experience of working with children in a school learning environment
- Excellent standards of spoken English and grammar
- Knowledge and experience of behaviour management strategies
- Working knowledge of the curriculum and ability to cover classes
- Experience of working flexibly and successfully within a range of teams
It is the policy of the school for lunchtimes to be supervised by teaching assistants on a staggered lunch basis and the successful candidate will be expected to take an active lunch time role.
