5 Ways to Wellbeing

Our Headstarters in school are a group of Year 5 and Year 6 children who have been trained in emotional wellbeing and are keen to pass on their newfound skills to other children at school.

The 5 Ways to Wellbeing are at the heart of Headstart and we want everybody (staff members and children alike) to know that they are:

1. Connect – talk and listen, be there, feel connected.

2. Be active – do what you can, enjoy what you do, move your mood.

3. Give – your time, your words, your presence.

4. Take notice – remember the simple things that give you joy.

5. Keep learning – embrace new experiences, see opportunities, surprise yourself.
