Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner
The role of our Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner is to work with children across the school who have been identified as 3 on the wellbeing scale to offer early intervention to support resilience, wellbeing and self-esteem.
The Emotional Well-Being Practitioner works on a 1:1 basis with children as well as supporting friendship groups. 1:1 pupils include children who are on the waiting list for external agency support or need low level mental health and wellbeing support.
The Emotional Well-Being Practitioner also leads Headstart within school, runs a support group for young carers and the lunchtime clubs at The SHACK.
