Pirates of the Curry Bean Parents and families were completely blown away by our LCPS Theatre Academy last week at Acklam Grange School where pupils performed the ‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’. It was hilarious and every child was totally committed to their roles. For over a term, pupils worked hard learning lines, practising dance routines and perfecting their piratical humour and were eager to share with parents their developing passion and talent for musical theatre. It was amazing to see the pupils develop in confidence and we loved seeing the delight and feelings of pride on their faces. For some of our pupils this experience will have been life changing and every one of them will have benefitted hugely from being a part of it all. Thank you to the dedicated and creative staff who worked night and day to get the show to such a high level. What a triumph it was!
