The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. We have recently been awarded the Gold Award, having demonstrated excellence in each of the four key areas:
Participation – The number of young people, at our school, that are engaged in sporting activity.
- Competition – The number of different sports that are being played and how many competitions we have entered.
- Workforce – The number of pupils that are involved in leadership activities alongside taking part in competitions.
- Clubs – The number of local links we have with clubs or establishments in the community.
