Attendance Support Worker

Job Title:             Attendance Support Worker

Salary:                  £10689, Grade H, Point 16–20

15 hours per week term time only (flexibility possible regarding days and hours worked)

Contract Status:               Temporary until 31st August 2026

Linthorpe Community Primary School, part of The Legacy Learning Trust, wishes to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and motivated attendance support worker to join our team of experienced and highly professional staff. Our “inspirational and thriving school” has been recognised as “outstanding” in all areas, in a recent Ofsted inspection.

The successful applicant must:

  • Promote good attendance and punctuality across school.
  • Liaise with parents, staff and outside agencies regarding attendance and absence.
  • Support families to engage with the school and have a positive involvement in their child’s learning.
  • Work effectively alongside colleagues and parents and be a team player with excellent communication skills and a professional persona.
  • Align themselves with our aspirational, ambitious school vision.
